The Bear star Ebon Moss-Bachrach will join Sarah Paulson in the thriller film Dust, Deadline reports. Annaleigh Ashford (American Crime Story) will also star in the film. It will be directed by Karrie Crouse (Westworld) and William Joines, making this Joines’ feature-length debut. Crouse will write. The American Horror Story actress will executive produce. Alix Madigan and Lucas Joaquin will produce.
The story will follow Sarah Paulson as a woman who is trapped by dust storms while having to face her past. She is convinced that something threatens her family, leading her down an extreme path to protect them. The role played by Ebon Moss-Bachrach is currently unknown.
Dust will stream as a Hulu Original in the U.S., with other release plans coming that have not been announced yet. Principle photography begins later this month.

The FX cooking drama has boosted Ebon Moss-Bachrach into the spotlight. The hit series has been renewed for a second season. It comes from Christopher Storer (Ramy). The series follows a Michelin Star chef who must work at his family’s sandwich shop when his brother commits suicide. It also stars Jeremy Allen White (Shameless), Ayo Edebiri (Big Mouth), Lionel Boyce (The Jellies!), and Liza Colón-Zayas (In Treatment). It also features Matty Matheson and Jon Bernthal.
Dust will help keep Sarah Paulson and Ebon Moss-Bachrach busy. She recently returned to American Crime Story and American Horror Story for the latest seasons of the two anthology series. He was recently in the Emmy-nominated Hulu miniseries The Dropout and will star in the thriller Geechee. The Bear star is also known for The Punisher, Girls, John Adams, Tesla, and Tokyo Project.
The thriller will begin its production soon. It currently has no set premiere date on the streaming platform.
