Misha Collins from Supernatural has hung up his wings but will take on the role of Harvey Dent for The CW DC series Gotham Knights. Harvey Dent starts off as a righteous district attorney but turns into Two-Face, one of Batman’s most fearsome foes. The writers of Batwoman Chad Fiveash, James Stoteraux, and Natalie Abrams wrote the series. It starts after Bruce Wayne’s murder, where Wayne’s adopted son finds camaraderie with the children of Wayne’s enemies. Wayne’s son and his friends help to bring safety to a very dangerous Gotham. Fallon Smythe, Tyler DiChiara, Oscar Morgan, Olivia Rose Keegan, and Navia Robinson join Supernatural actor Misha Collins for his Dent role in the series Gotham Knights. Berlanti Productions is producing The CW DC series in association with Warner Bros. Television. Fiveash, Stoteraux, Abrams are executive producers alongside Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and David Madden.
Misha Collins Goes from The CW’s Supernatural to Gotham Knights
Supernatural lasted 15 years and had a whopping 15 seasons. Collins joined the cast in Season 4 and quickly became a fan favorite. Collins is swapping out one series for another since Supernatural ended in 2020. He will now put his spin on the notorious villain Harvey Dent turned Two-Face in The CW series Gotham Knight. He tweeted the news to his followers following his cast news. There will be no bromance like what Misha Collins had with Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles in Supernatural. Misha Collins joked in his tweet about wearing a beige trenchcoat for his Harvey Dent portrayal in reference to character Castiel’s wardrobe from Supernatural. Castiel does not have the range of emotions of Harvey Dent, so this will be quite the change of character for Collins. There has been a lot of buzz about The CW series since it was given the go-ahead.
Collins is jumping from one Fandom to play Harvey Dent for The CW series Gotham Knights. DC and Supernatural fans alike will have to wait for the series premiere if Collins lives up to the character.
