Following the news of the game getting delayed, again, ‘The Day Before’ released the long-awaited gameplay footage, and…yeah, it isn’t that good. While some gamers had high expectations about the footage, watching it made some of them not that excited about the game anymore. Even if the title still has a launch date set for November, many still wonder if the game will happen. The latest gameplay footage didn’t show that much progress after all the time the game has been in development. Right now, a lot of people thinking this game is really far away from releasing.
‘The Day Before’ shows crafting, shooting, and roaming in its gameplay footage
The gameplay footage of ‘The Day Before’ starts with a bit of jogging and continues like that for a while. We get to see the crafting and dismantling screen and almost two minutes of weapon modification. The rest of the video shows the character shooting a few zombies and running around the city. While the city doesn’t have the detail like The Division or The Last of Us, it still has some nice nods to popular franchises out there and that’s fun.

Besides that, there are not a lot of things out there that look that engaging. The combat looks quite simple and despite the fact the game’s advertised as an MMO, we only see two players. If the trailer had shown a bit more of that MMO part, people might have had higher hopes. Instead, we got something more akin to a generic survival game, which isn’t bad either. Here, we think the company could focus on a good single-player survival game, and it would work. Instead, we got this gameplay footage from ‘The Day Before’ that didn’t impress many. Let’s hope that we get to see more of the game before its release in November.
