From a time traveler in Doctor Who to someone claiming to be a time traveler, we have a deeper look at the upcoming Amazon series with Peter Capaldi in The Devil’s Hour official trailer (seen below). A murder mystery thriller with a time dynamic that gives a sci-fi twist to the show’s many complex questions.
The show plays with a concept of the same name where someone wakes up between 3 and 4 a.m. and experiences something unexplainable. In The Devil’s Hour, we are introduced to Peter Capaldi as Gideon, the police’s main target. Lucy Chambers, played by Jessica Raine (Becoming Elizabeth), receives cryptic messages from the former Doctor Who actor as he tells her about the connection between memories and dreams. Slowly, as she tries to remember her connection to the case of a string of gruesome murders, the answers and more questions start to flood into her life.
The two leads will be joined by Phil Dunster (Ted Lasso), Nikesh Patel (Starstruck), Ramanique Ahluwalia (Wreck), Meera Syal (The Split), and Alex Ferns (The Batman).
