We saw dozens of new indie games with the launch of the Wholesome Direct event. Among these games was The Garden Path, which first appeared last year. In The Garden Path, which has been shown again during the event, You will play a character far from his old life and in new wildlife – a life once lived in these woods, waiting to be rediscovered.
The new indie-adventure game, developed by Louis Durrant, CarrotCake, made Wholesome Direct viewers curious. Drawing attention with its unique graphics and the main character, The Garden Path ‘explores the quiet moments of a life well-lived.’
The Garden Path Will Be Available On Steam This Year
The Garden Path, which does not follow the main story, allows players to wander and explore the wild jungle whenever and however they want. Each new exploration contains many stories, activities, and distractions. The game’s Steam description states:
The Garden Path explores the quiet moments of a life well lived, where your garden will grow to reflect both the passing of time and your own design. Time here runs in concert with the real world, and the passing of seasons heralds new encounters and a new story to weave.
Above all, The Garden Path is a life sim that celebrates the tranquil and the pensive, a tucked-away place to shape and grow as you like.
The game shown on Wholesome Direct will be available on Steam in 2022. The features of the new indie game are explained as follows:
- A humble gardening life-sim with real-time progress even when you’re away.
- Rich illustrated visuals and original soundtracks that draw you in.
- A charming cast of characters, all with their own stories to tell.
