The official trailer for The Ghost and Molly McGee season 2 has even released. It will premiere on Disney Channel on April 1, 2023, with the the first five episodes available on Disney+ the next day.
What We Know About The Ghost and Molly McGee Season 2: New Episodes, Characters and More
The Ghost and Molly McGee season 2 introduces several changes to the cast and characters. The biggest one is the introduction of brand new characters, who move into Molly’s neighborhood across the street and will be the McGee’s new neighbors.
However, the Chen’s just so happen to be ghost hunters, spelling trouble for the McGee’s, Molly and Scratch especially. The trailer teases that several hijinks will ensue as they try to fix this.
The main them of the season seems to be the idea of growing up. The name and synopsis for the five episodes of the second season have all been released, and they tease that many episodes will focus on Molly going through several changes in her life and feelings she has not experienced before.
The cast from the previous will all be returning to reprise their roles, including Ashly Burch, Dana Snyder, Jordan Klepper, Michaela Dietz, and Sumalee Montano as Molly, Scratch and the rest of the McGee’s, respectively.
Alan Lee, Sue Ann Pien, Stephanie Sheh and Leonard Wu will take on the roles of the new Chen family.
The series will continue to be executive produced by Bill Motz and Bob Roth, alongside Steve Later, executive producer of Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, and supervising director David Knott.
