Everyone Is Watching…
Since The Lord of the Rings: Gollum was announced in 2019, there has been a lot of excitement from Tolkien and gaming fans alike. Both NACON and Daedalic Entertainment understand the high-expectations that such a title will have. These expectations are only made higher due to the relatively recent launch of next-gen consoles.
Daedalic Entertainment publishes and develops high-quality games for different platforms. They have been involved in titles such as Deponia, Lord of the Dead, and Shadow Tactics: Blade of the Shogun. NACON is a company under BIGBEN Group. It was founded in 2019 to optimize synergies in the video game market.
In order to ensure that J.R.R. Tolkien’s world is represented faithfully in The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, Middle-Earth Enterprises are involved with the making of the game. Middle-Earth Enterprises owns the adaptation rights to Tolkien’s masterpieces. They produced and licensed Tolkien films, merchandise, and more. As a fan of the mythos, this is certainly comforting.
