So, the first gameplay trailer is narrated by Milly Alcock, the rising star of the HBO fantasy series House of the Dragon, and the teaser trailer was captured fully in-game, offering a first glimpse into HEXWORKS’ dark-fantasy world.
The Lords of the Fallen Receives Its First Gameplay Trailer
The countdown has begun for one of the most anticipated games, The Lords of the Fallen. The game received its first gameplay trailer during The Game Awards 2022. Narrated by Milly Alcock, the trailer gives a first glimpse into the game’s dark fantasy world.
Taking place over a thousand years after the first game’s events, The Lords of the Fallen will take players on an all-new epic adventure through a vast and sprawling world, split at its core between the realm of the living and the dead. In an expansive RPG experience, players will need to traverse between the two fully interconnected worlds, each offering its own unique pathways, side quests, NPCs, enemies, and treasures.
The trailer hints at only a fraction of the grueling journey ahead of players as they explore this breathtakingly vertical world, over five times bigger than its predecessor. They will need to master fast, fluid combat with a wide range of devastating weapons and powerful magic as they carve a bloody path through demonic hordes, undead terrors, and towering bosses. The title also offers seamless online multiplayer for players who would rather venture side by side.
At this point, CI Games did not say anything about the release date of the game now. However, The Lords of the Fallen, which is currently in development for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, is expected to be released somewhere in 2023.
