Overwatch 2 just released late last year, and season three is already coming in strong, adding new maps and modes; however, one of the big surprises we got from this is the Valentine-themed Loverwatch mini-game sim, which is a non-canon text adventure that allows you to date either Mercy or Genji… interesting right? Of course, it is a little odd and cringe, but it is also kinda addicting once you start. You will find yourself playing it for longer than expected.
What is Loverwatch All About?
In the Loverwatch game, you are bored and “lonely” so obviously you choose to visit the city’s comedy club, and this is where you meet Overwatch 2‘s Hanzo dressed as Cupid…and he will be the one guiding you through a series of dates with either Mercy or Genji based on your preference. Which choice you decide to make will affect how each hero views you and if they want to keep dating you or not. So be careful what choices you make since they will determine your future in the roleplaying game.
Who would have thought about Overwatch 2 making a dating sim for its characters and the player? Even still, this is a fun little game for its players to play when not gaming into Overwatch.
