The Yakuza series has long cemented itself as one of the big players in the Japanese gaming space. The adventures of Kazuma Kiryu are ones of equal parts hilarity and emotion, with serious passion flowing out of each and every experience. In recent years though, the world of Kamurocho has seen massive acclaim in the West and has thus become one of the big players here as well. That expansion into the West though just got a whole lot bigger. The Yakuza Remastered Collection, featuring redone versions of Yakuza 3, 4, and 5, has released on PC and Xbox One, with the three titles being available through Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass service. You can find the latest trailer for the collection below.
The trio of action-adventure titles picks up where the first two Kiwami titles left off, with Kazuma Kiryu trying to live a relatively low life. Things go awry though when those of his past in the yakuza return, forcing him to choose a side in a long broiling war. Through your adventures, you’ll experience gripping moments, beat your foes down, and look to protect those closest to you. Given that there are three games here, you’ll be doing a lot of that. With its introduction to Xbox Game Pass, those subscribed have a lot to play through ahead of them.
For those of you who are already aware of the trio of titles, this bundle lets you experience these moments once again in a redefined form. The Yakuza Remastered Collection features 1080p visuals combined with 60 FPS, allowing for a smooth and beautiful experience throughout Kamurocho. You can even enjoy it on the Xbox Series X|S thanks to backward compatibility.
