Indy studio Numantian Games is releasing its long-awaited campaign mode to its critically acclaimed game They Are Billions today on consoles. They Are Billions is a post-apocalyptic steam-punk zombie horror survival game where the zombies have mostly destroyed humanity. The few thousand survivors left in the world have to survive in a growing community while billions of zombies roam outside, wanting nothing more than those sweet, juicy brains. Players have to manage communities while recruiting, training troops, and gathering resources to survive the hungry horde just outside the survivor’s gates. The real-time strategy game released on Steam on December 17th, 2017, and arrived on consoles June of this year.
While the Game has mostly focused on building up and maintaining your colonies, this latest update is adding what appears to be a great story about building up and taking back from the Undead Hordes. The update will be free for players who already own the game, but for those of you who haven’t bought this fun title, the price has increased from $24.99 to $29.99.
The update includes improvements for the gamepad controller with tweaks and refinements to the contextual quick help systems. To make the game itself seem less intimidating to newer players are encouraged to pick up the game right away. The Campaign is said to cover all aspects of the game, making the Survival mode more inclusive. With a total of over 48 missions taking somewhere around 60 hours to complete, which seems massive for an RTS game.
They Are Billions is out now for Steam, PS4, and Xbox One.
How do you feel about this campaign finally coming out for console players? Have you bought the game? Do you plan on buying it soon? Sound off in the comments below!
