Currently, on both the Epic games store and Steam, there are a few games that users can grab for free. One of the more notable out of the games that are currently free is the original Evil Genius; you can find out more about how to get that game here. That said, here is the full list of games currently available for free this week.
Amnesia: The Dark Descent
The first game on our list is Amnesia: The Dark Descent, a game that is perhaps one of the most well known in the horror genre along Five Nights At Freddy’s. You can grab this game over at the Epic games store. Amnesia is free to keep until May 7, so grab it quick!
Amnesia: The Dark Descent has the player thrown into a strange world where they are trapped in a constant game of cat and mouse with an unknown creature. This creature will constantly hunt the player, driving them to the brink of sanity if they don’t avoid and hide from them. The game’s physics were, at one time, considered cutting edge, and it’s still a master class in spooky atmospheres. The game doesn’t rely solely on graphics, utilizing a dynamic sound system to pull no punches and fully immerse the player.

Showdown Bandit Stands Out in Games That Are Free To Keep This Week
The last game on our list is Showdown Bandit, a stealth action horror game that will have you playing as a strange cowboy puppet. I didn’t see an end date for this game, so I’m assuming this game is free to keep permanently. The game is also currently free over at its store page here.
Showdown Bandit‘s features mostly revolve around the controlling of a cowboy puppet in a blend of top-down action and horror elements. Showdown also has a pretty interesting premise of what essentially is the 1950’s Howdy Doody kids show from hell. Based on what is described on the store page, it also seems like, in this game, you will explore abandoned TV sets searching for the Bandit’s friends.
So far, these are all the games we found that are currently free to keep this week. What do you think about these games? which ones will you be downloading? Let us know down in the comments below, and don’t forget to share the news!
