Three new faces have joined the Titans season four cast. Joseph Morgan, Lisa Ambalavanar, and Franka Potente have been cast as well-known DC villains. Deadline reports that Morgan will be playing Sebastian Blood, a.k.a Brother Blood, an intelligent introvert with a dark side. Potente will be portraying May Bennett, a.k.a Mother Mayhem, a natural leader and a predator in human form. And Ambalavanar will have a recurring role as Jinx, a criminal lawyer with a flair for dark magic who takes joy in manipulation and chaos. Brother Blood and Jinx have both appeared in the animated Teen Titans series. Brother Blood appeared in the second season of Arrow on The CW. Kevin Alejandro portrayed him on the latter show.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Morgan is best known for his role in The Vampire Diaries and its spin-off, The Originals. He portrayed Niklaus “Klaus” Mikaelson in both series. Potente played the titular character in the 1998 film Run Lola Run, and she has had television roles in Taboo and Claws. Ambalavanar presently stars in The A-List.
Titans first aired on the now-dissolved DC Universe streaming service in 2018. The service moved all original programming to HBO Max in 2018, where the third season premiered. Alan Ritchson, who portrayed the character Hank Hall a.k.a Hawk, recently exited the series. He is now playing Jack Reacher in the Amazon Prime series Reacher, which will be released on February 4.
Despite that significant loss, fans can now look forward to seeing these new members of the Titans season four cast playing iconic DC villains.
Titans season four will likely be released sometime in the Fall of 2022.
