Today Is My Birthday Horror Game Launches Halloween Eve

Beyond the quiet air and rusty gates lies the abandoned Wonder Park, a place once known for joy and delight. For Thomas Wilkes, it was the go-to place for his birthday celebrations thanks to his father’s employment at the Park. Now, after his father’s unfortunate passing, Thomas wishes to visit the Park one last time, but he’ll unknowingly stumble into a horrible nightmare in Today Is My Birthday.

A first-person survival horror game, Today Is My Birthday seeks to present itself as a “classic horror experience”. You will face terrifying odds and encounters as you traverse Wonder Park, with only your wits, survival instincts, and curiosity helping you along your journey. Play as Thomas, as he seeks to untangle the sinister mystery behind the park that means so much to him.

A reveal trailer from last year displays the absolute horror that you will endure in Today Is My Birthday. Looking similar to gameplay elements of Outlast and Condemned: Criminal Origins, Today Is My Birthday is set in an eerie atmosphere where exploration is essential to your survival. Creepy fiends come after you, bugs crawl out of dead people’s mouths, and heavy rain fills the secrets lurking beyond the corners.

Today Is My Birthday‘s haunting atmosphere suggests that the game will not rely heavily on jump scares. Much of the grotesque horror is put on full display, putting you up-close-and-personal with the dark unknown.

Today Is My Birthday is developed by Wonder Games with publishing by Crytivo. The game is set for an October 30 release for PC, with a playable demo that can be downloaded now through its Steam page.
