Tom Cruise Skips Oscars For Sir Michael Caine’s 90th
Walliams’ post had more photos that showed the “Top Gun” star with Caine. Cruise, who had the 90-year-old in his embrace, flashed his white pearls tirelessly while sitting behind a table.
Tom Cruise and David Walliams also posed behind the veteran actor. However, they were not the only attendees at the event.
“Loose Women” actress Denis Welch joined the star-studded party. She shared a photo of herself holding the celebrant. Welch wrote:
“Happy 90th birthday Michael Caine!!! We love you.”
Over the years, Cruise has maintained a friendliness with the celebrant. They even hit red-carpet events together.
In 1983 the “Top Gun: Maverick” star attended the “Educating Rita” screening at the Screen Directors Guild Theater.
Before attending Sir Michael Caine’s 90th birthday, Cruise bailed out on the Oscars— even though his “Top Gun: Maverick” was nominated for six awards.

In the 90s, the duo had the perfect love story. Sadly, it did not last forever. Also, their individual religious stand did not make keeping in touch any less challenging.
But during their marriage, they adopted two kids, Bella and Connor, whom many speculate do not have a smooth relationship with their mom.
Though Bella has not addressed the rumors, in 2016, Connor claimed there was no bad blood between him and Kidman.
