Up and coming to a comic store near you Batman #75! Tom King leaked a teaser on Twitter with the promise of an 8 issue series where Bane and Batman finally go toe to toe! For three years the Batman series by Tom King has had 74 amazing issues. Number 75, City of Bane, is sure to be an important issue indeed. The new issue is coming this July 2019 and has long thought to be a critical turning point for Bruce Wayne. The Bat and Billionaire duo are in for something big each in their own retrospects.
Fans are just dying to find out. With the tweet from Tom King himself hope that this could change things for our winged Dark Knight or at least give readers a much bigger story. Considering Bane as one of Batmans most influential adversaries as well as one of the scariest. The tweet that released showed artwork by Tony Daniel. The piece had Bane at the focal point surrounded by almost every villain worth mentioning in Batman history. From The Penguin to The White Rabbit. All the villains are standing on a pile of rubble with the Batman mask buried in the rocks.

What will happen in this new issue? Those fans who read issue #74 know that it ended “The Fall and the Fallen”. Very ominous and dark. Leading into what Tom King calls “A huge Bat event with a secret name that sets us up for the end at 105”. So close to the end and then yet there is so much more of the story to follow. I am very much looking forward to the new book coming out this July! Tom King will hopefully be keeping us updated via twitter!
