Omnium Beacon is one of the Daily Activities you can run by spending Vitality and is considered one of the easiest to complete — although there’s a catch to how the system works. Here’s a quick overview on how to unlock and access Omnium Beacon activity as well as how it works in Tower of Fantasy.
Unlocking the Omnium Beacon in Tower of Fantasy
You can unlock and access Omnium Beacons once you reach Level 28 in Tower of Fantasy. The menu will appear in the Adventure menu’s Select tab along with Joint Operation, Dimensional Trials, Interstellar Exploration, and Spacetime Domain. Open it, spend 30 Vitality for an Omnium Collector, and deploy the Collector anywhere on the map; mostly in an open area, somewhere like cliffsides and beneath a tree will be rejected.
Then you must wait 24 hours for it to generate rewards and claim them from the Omnium Beacon menu. Omnium Beacons rewards come in three qualities: Blue, Purple, and Orange.
However, interestingly, whenever someone claims an Omnium Collector close to yours, they’ll obtain a Collector Signal item that can be used to track down your and other players’ Collectors. There are two ways to tackle this mechanic:
- Treat it as a hide-and-seek minigame where you try to hide your own and steal every Omnium Collector you came across. Stolen Omnium Collector will only give part of the original rewards to its owners while you reap most of them.
- But if you and the other Wanderer are friends or part of the same Crew, then both of you will still get all the rewards.
- Use it to let other players know that they can collect the Omnium Collector since you can use the Collector Signal to contact (and befriend) the Collector owners as well.
While you can be a good samaritan, I doubt other players will do the same. For that reason, it’s better to run Omnium Beacon activities once you’ve unlocked more areas, such as Astra, Banges, and Warren. That way, you’ll have more locations to hide your Collector.
