Two Point Hospital, for a game that is incredibly silly and doesn’t take itself seriously, offers a very in-depth set of management features for your particular hospital. Whether it be the plenty of specialized professions your doctors can have, the wide range of machines you can use to cure patients, or the hefty amount of decorations great for sprucing up the place, there’s plenty for those who like to get into the nitty-gritty of their hospital. To my shock though, proper ambulances haven’t been a thing in a game like it. That is, until now. Today, the Two Point Hospital team has announced the brand new Speedy Recovery DLC, finally bringing ambulances to the game. You can check out the announcement trailer below!
I’ll let the description of the above YouTube video do the talking for a bit:
Everyday thousands of citizens hurt themselves in new and amusing ways, these people need our help, but how? A traditional ambulance is no match for the perils of today, lucky for us, the County’s brightest minds are up to the task!
Meet Gretchen Gearbox, world-class mechanic and inventor, friend to the sickly and the stung by bees. Use Gretchen’s designs to build and manage a fleet of innovative and unorthodox ambulances, designed for every and any emergency situation. Head off-road with the Big Healer or cram in a laughable load with the Pantomobile. Fly in timeless style with the Relicopter or squat through the skies in glorious privacy with the Airloovator.”
So as you can see, quite a few new ambulances get your patients to Two Point Hospital as fast as possible. That isn’t all coming with this DLC though. Also coming are three new locations in Ailing, Betts Shore, and Pointy Pass, a host of new illnesses, new curing machines for said illnesses, and much more! If you’re looking for another reason to play more Two Point Hospital, then this will be your chance.
The Two Point Hospital Speedy Recovery DLC will release on Steam and the Microsoft Store on March 15, 2022. Will you be picking it up? Any other wacky ideas for DLCs? Let me know!
