Xbox has been working to make the largest library possible through its Xbox Game Pass subscription service. Game Pass might just be one of the biggest pay-to-play libraries of any similar service. Placing new games at the forefront of the subscription and constantly adding classics, there’s plenty to love. With more services looking to subscriptions, gamers are constantly gaining more and more titles to play. Most recently, EA decided to bring over its subscription service, which makes games like It Takes Two playable through an Xbox Game Pass subscription. Now it seems like Ubisoft is looking to make the jump too. Ubisoft announced this morning that Ubisoft+ is coming to Xbox Game Pass with Rainbow Six Extraction being made available on day one.

When Is Ubisoft+ and Rainbow Six Extraction Coming to Xbox Game Pass?
Detailed in their blog post are the logistics of the upcoming addition to Xbox Game Pass. One of the biggest surprises from this announcement is Rainbow Six Extractions’ simultaneous release in retail and on Xbox Game Pass. While Ubisoft+ offers this at a more premium tier, there are plenty of reasons to be excited. A release on Xbox Game Pass could also mean we see Ubisoft’s gaming backlog heading to the service. Classic Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry titles will more than likely make their way to a new audience. While Xbox Game Pass is only really available on PC and Xbox, the streaming capabilities are strong. While Ubisoft did not provide an official release date, Rainbow Six Extraction will release in just a few more weeks on January 20th. At this point, the game will simultaneously release on Xbox Game Pass to be available for all users.
