Ubisoft has released a new clip from Far Cry 6. You can see that trailer down below:
Far Cry 6 stars Giancarlo Esposito as the game’s main antagonist, Anton Castillo. Here is a synopsis for the game:
Far Cry 6 is an open-world first-person shooter that plunges players into the heart of a modern-day guerrilla revolution. On the island of Yara, President AntĆ³n Castillo vows to restore his nation to its former glory while grooming his son Diego to follow in his footsteps. Yet paradise comes at a cost and enriching his country means subjugating those who donāt follow his vision. Players will take up the cause to liberate Yara as Dani Rojas, a local military drop out, who tries to escape the island but ends up joining revolutionary group, Libertad. As Dani, players will experience the adrenaline and chaos of āresolverā guerrilla combat, Far Cry style, with the most creative and innovative arsenal yet.”
Far Cry 6 Season Pass Revealed
Ubisoft also revealed the upcoming post-launch plans for Far Cry 6, including its Season Pass. The game’s Season Pass will include three episodes. Each of these episodes will explore the backstories of different villains from past Far Cry games.
The first episode focuses on Vaas (Far Cry 3), the second episode is centered on Pagan Min (Far Cry 4), and the final DLC installment is all about Joseph Seed (Far Cry 5). Furthermore, all of the original voice actors are returning for their respective DLC episode (Michael Mando as Vaas, Troy Baker as Pagan Min, and Greg Bryk as Joseph Seed).
For console players, the Season Pass also includes Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon and The Blood Dragon Set. This set contains a new outfit, two new weapons, one vehicle, one weapon charm, one Fang For Hire, and one vehicle Chibi.
Far Cry 6 is set to release on October 7, 2021 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Stadia, Amazon Luna, and Windows PC.
