Cameron Diaz’s Comeback Movie Paused After A Bomb from World War II Was Found
Last month, Cameron Diaz was ready for action alongside Jamie Foxx for her comeback film. However, the Netflix action flick Back In Action did not proceed with filming following chaos on set.
Sources confirmed that an unexploded World War II bomb was found on set. This was before a scene including a major explosion was set for capture.
The first thing in the mind of the producers was safety, so canceling filming was the best option. A source revealed:
“Safety was the main priority, so after speaking with the police and relevant authorities the whole thing was cancelled.”
Cameron Diaz’s ‘Back In Action’ Film Had Been Discontinued Before The Bomb Incident
It was gathered that the Diaz-Foxx-led film was paused because of an internal investigation. There was a plan to rip the actor off £33,000. The production quickly looked into it and fired the staff that was found culpable.
It did not end there; the producers informed the police after suspecting that the scammer might be onto other celebrities.
The Sun reported that the frequent stops have led to a delay in production. According to the insider:
“There have been a lot of delays, especially with the weather thanks to filming outdoors in London in winter, but the latest issue is a bit more sinister.”
For now, no one knows when Back In Action will hit the big screens. But fans can anticipate nothing but the best from this Seth Gordon film which will likely drop next year.
