A woman having a wild meltdown in the hallway of a Florida hotel is sparking a lot of discussion online. In a video that was posted by a man who works at the hotel, the Karen tells a group of people who have confronted her that she’s been married to a police officer for decades. She then goes into a full on rant about race, living in Florida, and even uses the N-word in the bizarre crash out.
The video, posted by TikTok user @texusryder, which can be seen here, starts off with the white Florida woman sitting on the floor in front of her hotel room door. She is already wild, yelling at a black woman in a room behind her. “You have no clue what’s going on,” she tells the group of men, who are seemingly trying to de-escalate the situation.
The hotel employee recording apologizes for her behavior, telling the others in the group that the woman is “drunk.” Of course, she takes offense to this, yelling even more about the tense situation. She then claims that the group is “too young” to understand how things work, adding that she’s done nothing wrong.
After getting off the floor, the situation gets even more heated. The woman begins to throw criticism about one of the men’s looks and screams obscenities. She later makes a crude gesture with her tongue. “Little white guy,” she says as she gets into his personal space. She then insinuates that the man is a “liberal” and says that in Florida, they “don’t care” about their way of doing things.
Although it didn’t seem that the situation could get any weirder, it did. The woman began going off on a bizarre train of thought. Towards the end of the 5-minute video, the Karen’s rant turns racial. She uses the N-word multiple times, claiming that “you don’t have to be Black” to be called the word, adding that she and the other Black people come from the same place.
Of course, TikTok viewers were absolutely stunned by the interaction. “She was dying to use the N-word,” one person commented. “What is she talking about?” another confused social media user asked. “Is this a monologue? Is she auditioning?” a third person chimed in. “I look forward to us holding her accountable,” a fourth comment read.
It was a crazy scene, and the Florida woman certainly had a lot to say during her tirade. However, one can’t help but wonder if she’s embarrassed by her behavior in the cold light of day.
