Thanks to Early Access, V Rising is the latest survival game generating buzz. As you dive into the role of a vampire in V Rising, you can also play with friends thanks to the game’s multiplayer design. We’ll show you how, so you can tackle the game with your friends by your side.
How to Play Multiplayer with Friends in V Rising
Once you load up the game and are in the Main Menu, select Play. From there, you can choose how to play with friends. V Rising offers 2 ways you can use the multiplayer function:
- Online Play
- Private Game
With Online Play, you and your friends must select the same server. Once that happens, you have to find each other in the game. With this route, however, there will be other players around. Online Play does allow you to choose between PvP and PvE though.
However, if you want to just play around exclusively with your friends, choose Private Game. You get to host your own world and invite them to join in.
When you create your private world in V Rising, simply head to your friend list in Steam to play multiplayer. Right-click on your friends’ names to invite them to the game. Additionally, they can just right-click on your name and join in on your session.
Making a Multiplayer Clan in V Rising
The best way to enjoy multiplayer in V Rising is to create a Clan for you and your friends to play in.
If you’ve played other similar multiplayer games, a Clan is this game’s way of saying “squad.” It’s an easier way for friends to group together and share resources. Once in a Clan, members can’t harm each other. You can work with friends to build an incredible base with everything you need to stay safe and thrive in-game.
There are different Clan size limitations though. In Online Play, the Clan has a max of 4 members. However, in a Private Game, a Clan is maxed to 10 players.
Now that you know how to play with friends in multiplayer mode, gather some up and jump into the exciting vampire world that is V Rising.
