Rubies in Valheim are a great way to make some quick coin with the trader Haldor. However, like all valuables, rubies can only be found in chests out in the world. Players of Valheim will have to venture out and dig up some chests and hope to find some rubies. Here are all the best places to find all the rubies you could want in Valheim.Â
Where to Get Rubies
To get rubies in Valheim, you’ll need to be looking for chests in three biomes. In the Meadows biome, you should look for Stone graves and Viking Graveyards. The Stone graves are easy to identify as they use a huge horizontal rock surrounded by smaller vertical rocks. They are scattered around the Meadows, and when the horizontal rock is mined, there is a chance that it will drop rubies.
The Viking Graveyards are a bit harder to spot, but you should look for an outline of rocks in the shape of a ship. Once you find one, just dig around for a chest. There will be a 20% chance that this chest will hold rubies inside.
Our Other Valheim Guides
In the Swamp biome, you will first have to defeat the Elder to get the swamp key. This key will unlock the iron gates blocking you from the Sunken Crypts. These crypts are made of several rooms that may hold chests. While rubies are not guaranteed, there is a chance that they will be lurking within the chests.
If either of these locations proves to be less fruitful than you’d like, you should make your way to the Black Forest biome. The Burial Chambers inside the Black Forest can be a dangerous undertaking, but they are a sure way to get some loot. Burial Chambers are essentially dungeons for you to take on, but inside the maze, you’ll find chests. These chests may have the rubies you are looking for.
Whenever you have enough of these gems, make your way to Haldor in the Black Forest. Each ruby will sell for 20 coins. It might not seem like much, but once you have enough rubies, you’ll easily make a small fortune. If this guide helps you do just that in Valheim, be sure to let us know in the comments below. As well, share it around so it can help others!
