People tend to think that only AAA titles are the ones that make big ripples in the gaming industry. This year, we got a few great titles, and there are even more on the horizon. We have God of War: Ragnarok establishing a new sales record for Sony. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet became one of the fastest-selling launches of the franchise, despite the games’ flaws. Yet, for those who prefer indie games, there is one that cause a huge impact and even got some nominations for the awards season. Vampire Survivors is an excellent example of what one dedicated person can do to create an addictive and fun game. Today, the Vampire Survivors patch 1.1.0, called the Tiny Update, was released for the game. It adds more content, a new stage, and even some secrets to discover.
Vampire Survivors Tiny Update adds a new Challenge Stage
For those who’ve already played Vampire Survivors, you might have noticed how addictive and fun the game is. It is a quite simple gameplay loop that can hook you for hours. Plus, the game doesn’t require photorealistic graphics to shine. The fun the game brings is enough. Now, with the Vampire Survivors patch 1.1.0 here, there are a lot more things to try. Don’t let the Tiny Update name fool you. What they have added is sure to give us players a lot of hours of playtime.
The most notable addition to the Vampire Survivors Tiny Update is the new Challenge Stage, the Tiny Bridge. Players can unlock it by reaching level 80 in the Inverse Gallo Tower. While small, this doesn’t mean you will finish the new content fast. As always, this game is more of a trial and error with rogue-lite elements. For that, there is also a new PowerUp you can try to tackle this new content. The Vampire Survivors patch 1.1.0 notes aren’t that long, but you can read them on the official Steam Page. If you already own the game, get ready to jump in and try your luck with all of the new content that just arrived.
