In clips circulating on social media, Hudgens was spotted walking across the valet park as Butler stood with actress Sharon Stone. As she walked past, the former teen star appeared to avoid any form of interaction by staring down at her phone.
The Elvis star even glanced in Hudgens’s direction, but she acted like she was busy on the phone. Seemingly, she did that in a bid to avoid having eye contact with him. However, it is not confirmed movie stars interacted while inside the event.
Per Page Six, the 31-year-old was dragged for using his now-famous Elvis Presley accent during an interview session on the red carpet. An Oscars viewer has requested to know when the actor would be dropping the accent. Also, the fan asked to know if the accent has gotten into his DNA.
Another fan wrote, “Austin Butler still has a hint of that accent and I am gonna shove him into a locker.”
Following Butler’s portrayal of the Elvis Presley character, it has become so famous. Also, he received a best actor nomination for portraying the character of Jailhouse Rock singer. However, the accolade went to Brendan Fraser for playing Charlie (a 600 pounds English teacher in The Whale).
Butler Recently Acknowledged Hudgens Support Towards His Career
Some time ago, during an interview with Los Angeles Times, the actor acknowledged the effort of his ex-girlfriend, Hudgens.
He appreciated her support when his journey to take up Presley’s Life on the big screen began. During the interview, Butler expressed that he owes Hudgens a lot for believing in him even when no one else did.
Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler dated for close to nine years before they finally called it quits in 2020. Following their split, Hudgen started dating MLB star, Cole Tucker, who got engaged to her last month.
Butler on the other hand has been in a relationship with Cindy Crawford’s daughter. The love birds started dating in December 2021, a year after Butler called it a quit with Hudgens.
