“Walker Texas Ranger” Actor Jared Padalecki in Car Accident

On April 24th, Jared Padalecki, the actor from Walker Texas Ranger, canceled his most recent appearance at a Supernatural convention. Fans were immediately alerted, with Jared having a strongly supportive fanbase, with millions of fans tweeting #WeLoveYouJaredPadalecki and much more to show their support for the fellow Sam Winchester and Walker Texas Ranger. Let’s just say the convention wasn’t the same without him.

At first, no one knew why Jared pulled out of the convention, only that it was due to “personal” reasons. As the day went on, Walker Texas Ranger’s Jared tweeted that he was sorry for missing the convention event but didn’t mention anything about the accident.

During the Sunday panel with Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki’s best friend and former roommate, as well as former co-worker on the 15-season hit series Supernatural, shared what had happened. Jensen Ackles also directed an episode of Walker Texas Ranger.

With Jared’s permission, Jensen proceeds to tell the fans that Jared was involved in a bad car accident. Jared wasn’t the driver but riding in the passage seat. The car was totaled. “I don’t know if you guys know what’s going on,” Jensen Ackles asked the crowd, receiving a bunch of no(s). “He was in a very bad car accident. He wasn’t driving, he was in the passenger seat, and he’s lucky to be alive.”

“He’s home recovering, which the fact that he’s not in a hospital right now is blowing my mind because I saw the car,” Jensen Ackles added.

The Convention Wasn’t The Same Without Jared

“I miss my buddy,” actor Jensen had said to the crowd. He also told the fans he wanted to send Jared a video since he wasn’t able to come. “He sends his love. I spoke with him yesterday. He’s sad he can’t be here.”

Jared has not yet responded to any of the news, fans, or anybody else that we know of about the accident. What we do know is that he was missed during the convention. Jensen brought on Misha Collins to join him on stage for the panel, and they discussed how awkward the photo ops felt without Walker Texas Ranger actor Jared being there, how he is the “glue” for them all.
