Let’s be honest, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 was fantastic. I could play that game, slaying rats for hours as Kerillian with friends. There’s so much content throughout, and it’s just as gruesome as you’d expect. Many have been waiting for the team’s next adventures though, and today, Fatshark has something new to show off. At The Game Awards today, the Fatshark team showcased a fresh trailer for Warhammer 40000: Darktide, and it looks just as gruesome as you’d expect from the dev. You can check that very trailer out below.
For those unaware of this upcoming co-op first-person shooter, check out Warhammer 40000: Darktide’s synopsis as per the Steam page:
Fight together with your friends against hordes of enemies in this new Warhammer 40,000 experience. From the developers of the best-selling and award-winning co-op action franchise Vermintide, Warhammer 40000: Darktide is a visceral 4-player co-op action game set in the hive city of Tertium. In the depths of the hive, the seeds of corruption threaten an overwhelming tide of darkness. A heretical cult known as the Admonition seeks to seize control of the planet Atoma Prime and lay waste to its inhabitants. It is up to you and your allies in the Inquisition to root out the enemy before the city succumbs to Chaos.”
