Focus Entertainment’s FPS Warstride Challenges launched in Early Access back in April of this year. Thus far, the game is doing fairly well, having Very Positive reviews on Steam. Now, Focus Entertainment is poised to release Warstride Challenges on PS5 and the Xbox Series X|S. Console players will have a bit of a wait, but in the meantime, there’s something new for PC players. The first update for Warstride Challenges is out now on PC.
What’s new in today’s Warstride Challenges update?
Focus Entertainment announced the Warstride Challenges update on their website, where they highlighted the new features that come with it.
“Warstride Challenges, the hardcore and explosive indie FPS from Focus Entertainment and Dream Powered Games releases its first update today, available for all players in Early Access on Steam, and coming in the future to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. The first of many, this update sees the arrival of Very Hard mode for Chapter 1, and improvements for the Level Editor.”
Let’s get a bit more specific about today’s Warstride Challenges update. First off, Very Hard mode adds 12 new levels to Chapter 1. Secondly, the Level Editor has been tweaked with “many improvements and fixes.” A Level Editor Guide was published alongside this update, as well.

Now that we’ve gone over the basics of today’s update, one central question remains: When is Warstride Challenges coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S? Unfortunately, we don’t have any specific release dates yet. For now, all we know is that the game will release on consoles at some point in the future.
