Do you want to know when Destiny 2 Season 19 starts? Destiny 2: Season of Plunder is about to end on December 06, 2022. Destiny 2 is an online-only first-person shooter video game developed by Bungie. The game features a multiplayer” shared world” environment with elements of role-playing games, allowing players to interact with each other to complete tasks cooperatively or competitively. This guide will answer the question: “When does Destiny 2 Season 19 start?”
When Does Destiny 2 Season 19 Start?
Destiny 2 Season 19 will begin on December 06, 2022. Since Bungie has officially announced the end date of Season of Plunder as December 06, 2022, we can expect Season 19 will begin on the same date. However, with the reveal of the Destiny 2 LightFall, which will be the 20th Season of the game, people are wondering how it will connect with the current game storyline. We are sure Bungie will use Season 19 to set up the events of LightFall and fill out those gaps. Destiny’s Showcase event mentioned that Destiny2 Nightfall will start on February 23, 2023. That means the Season 19 end date will be February 23, 2023.

Everything we know about Destiny 2 Season 19 so far
Unfortunately, as always, Bungie has not revealed much about Season 19. Since they released the trailer for Season 18 a few hours before the release, we can expect the same for Season 19.
In Season 18, we had a new Dungeon, the king’s Fall Raid. We can expect another in Season 19. Also, the Iron Banner will return in Season 19 with new weapons and armor to earn.
In addition, according to a Blog post in Bungie net on October 20, 2022, the following weapons will be removed.
Iron Banner: Forge’s PledgePuForge’slee
- Riiswalker Shotgun
- Forge’s Pledge Pulse Rifle
Trials of Osiris:Â
- Aisha’s Embrace Scout Rifle
- Reed’s Regret Linear Fusion Rifle
Nightfall:
- Silicon Neuroma Sniper Rifle
- Duty Bound Auto Rifle
Also, according to Bungie’s information, Dexerto reveals that players can craft Deep Stone Crypt weapons. Bungie says, “Each encounter has a chance to drop a Deepsight version of a raid weapon, and players may purchase one per week from the final chest after defeating Taniks; when Deep Stone Crypt is the featured raid of the week, encounter drops are uncapped! This means you can run a full raid and each encounter multiple times hunting for Deepsight drops.” Season 19 is expected to be around $12, as in previous seasons.
While Bungie has not yet released much information about Season 19, we can expect some new content and changes coming up at the end of Season 18. Likely there will be a new Raid, weapons, and armor to earn in the Iron Banner, as well as connects the Story with Nightfall. We will have to wait until closer to the start date for more details.
