As the Chrome continued to spread across the Fortnite island, Tilted Towers has been transformed into Tainted Towers, and weird Rifts/Fractures are also appearing in the skies. As players learned that there wouldn’t be a Fortnite Season 5 and we only got four seasons this time around, people are hoping that the upcoming Season would bring even more surprises compared to previous ones. Continue reading below for all the details we currently know about Fortnite Chapter 4, including when Season 1 Battle Pass starts and when Creative 2.0 is going to be added.

According to the Season Pass page and in-game loading screen, the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 Battle Pass expires on December 3. That means, Fortnite Chapter 4 is anticipated to launch soon after and should debut on December 4, 2022. Fortnite rollouts have been taking place for over a year on Sundays, so the timing should match up. We will update this article once Epic Games have revealed the official start time of Chapter 4 as well as Fortnite server downtime to prepare for the event.
When You Can Play the Fracture Event in Fortnite
With the end of Fortnite Chapter 3 comes the last big event of this Chapter, known as the Fracture. According to the details, this one-time event will start on Saturday, December 3, at 1 p.m. PT/4 p.m. ET. You can also participate in this event solo, in a duo, or more.
Although it is recommended that players log in 30 minutes before the event, it is still possible to join up to 40 minutes later while the Fracture Event is still going on.
New Additions to Fortnite Chapter 4
We have 5 MAJOR leaked things that will most likely release in Fortnite's Chapter 4 this December 3rd, or throughout Season 1 🔥
– Unreal Editor for Fortnite / UEFN (Creative 2.0)
– New cosmetic type (Codename: Apparel)
– Rideable flying animals
– First person mode
– Motorcycles pic.twitter.com/LmUX15yaKL— HYPEX (@HYPEX) November 13, 2022
Fortnite leaker @HYPEX wrote that five huge updates will be added to Fortnite Chapter 4 — or at least throughout Season 1. They are:
- New Cosmetic type, currently only known as “Apparel” from the file’s codename.
- You can now ride flying animals.
- Talking about rides, motorcycles.
- The long-awaited first-person mode.
- And lastly, engine update: Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN), also referred to as Creative 2.0.
I listed Creative 2.0 because, unfortunately, Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney himself has confirmed that despite the team having been working hard on it, the UEFN launch is being delayed to late January 2023. Well-known data miner Fortnite Central also found that a unique 23.00.UEFN version has been added to the Staging Server.
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 Battle Pass Price
Usually, the game’s Battle Pass is priced at 950 V-Bucks, so Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 Battle Pass should cost the same. In the Fortnite Store, $7.99 will net you 1,000 V-Bucks. Meanwhile, you can reach Tier 25 immediately by using the Battle Bundle upgrade, which is available for 2,800 V-Bucks.
And that’s all for now. We will update this Fortnite Chapter 4 article when more news and official information has been revealed.
