Want to know where to find an Ice Stone in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet? Although not all Pokémon can evolve, most have this possibility and can become much more powerful by changing their original form. For some evolutions, it is enough to raise the level of a Pokémon a little, while other creatures need a push to evolve. To do this, you must find and use one of the many evolution stones in the game. Unfortunately, you cannot purchase all in a store in one of the cities, and you will have to look for stones such as Ice Stone. But our guide is here to help you and tell you where to find an Ice Stone in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
Where to Find an Ice Stone in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
As we said at the beginning, getting an Ice Stone is a bit more problematic than other stones. While you can buy Thunder Stone or Fire Stone from shops in big cities, you will have to look for Ice Stone in the open world. More precisely, visit the Glaseado Mountain region, because only here is what you need.
Although there is no exact location of the Ice Stone in the game, this is more good news than bad. Unlike the Oval Stone, which has limited resources, Ice Stone has no such restrictions, and you can get as many as you want for free. To find an Ice Stone in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you must travel to the Mountain region peak and the Southern border of the mountain. But to search more efficiently, use one of the following methods:
- Send your Pokémon into battle in the Glaseado Mountain region. Upon their return, they will bring a lot of resources, among which there will sometimes be Ice Stone.
- In addition, as you walk around the icy location, look for red Poké Balls or shimmering objects on the ground. After picking these up, you can also get one Ice Stone.

- Cetoddle into Cetitan
