Pomegranate is the favorite food of the Batty Slimes, a Slime species that produces Plorts used in Fabricator crafting in Slime Rancher 2. Unlike Pogofruit or Cubeberries, the Pomegranate is quite rare, only spawning in specific locations within Ember Valley, the island biome west of the starting area. To reach this area, players will need to feed the Pink Gordo Slime, a creature located in the northeastern corner of the westernmost peninsula of Rainbow Fields. After giving this Gordo 30 stacks of any food type, players will be able to enter Ember Valley, after which they can begin their search for Pomegranates in Slime Rancher 2.
Finding Pomegranate In Slime Rancher 2
Two excellent locations to find Pomegranates in Slime Rancher 2 are the northern mountainous area of Ember Valley and the central cavernous habitats of the Batty Slimes. While it is likely possible to traverse these areas on foot, players are highly recommended to craft the Jetpack before exploring to make the search for Pomegranates more accessible.

According to Pro Game Guides, players can reach the first Pomegranate location by heading northward from the portal in Ember Valley. Several geysers will help players reach the elevated areas, while some locations will require the Jetpack for higher ravines. In the western section of this western area, players will find two Pomegranate trees. One sits by a round rock near the geyser passageway’s entry hole, while another grows from a towering rock close by. This route is fairly tedious, which is why Pro Game Guides recommends players unlock the hidden portal in the cliffs north of the Rainbow Fields.
Thanks to findings by Try Hard Guides, the second Pomegranate location in Slime Rancher 2 can be found in the largest cavern of the Batty Slimes’ underground habitat. This area sits between the coral reefs and the volcanic section of Ember Valley. To reach this area, head to the far west of the sandy corals and use a geyser to enter a passage leading into a cave behind a waterfall. Eventually, players will find themselves in the home of many Batty Slimes. Since Pomegranates are so challenging to find, it might be wise to take one back to the Conservatory and grow it on a Farm for easy production.
Slime Rancher 2 is available on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
