Giga Impact is a Physical Normal-type Move in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet that deals 150 Power of damage with 90 Accuracy on a single target for a low base cost of 5 PP. If you thought such an attack sounded too good to be true, you presumed correctly, as Giga Impact’s downside is that it prevents its caster from attacking during the following turn. Nevertheless, if a Trainer knows they will be able to cast Giga Impact as a finishing blow, then the disadvantage of the Move will be ineffective. Only a handful of monsters can learn this Move via leveling, but a host of Pokémon can be taught this attack via its TM.

There are several locations across Paldea where you will be able to find a copy of the Giga Impact TM in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Remember that only one must be collected to have the TM’s recipe unlocked at the TM Machines of Pokécenters.

One location of the Giga Impact TM in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is atop the mountain lake east of Alfornada in Area Six of the South Province. Starting from the ruin at the base of the mount, you need to follow the winding path up to the crater lake at the top of the ridge overlooking Alfornada. Investigate the Yellow Poké Ball on the eastern side of the reservoir to find the TM. According to YouTuber GameLoc, a second copy of the Giga Impact TM can also be found in Area Six of the South Province; however, the item’s location is underground in Alfornada Cavern. Starting from the Alfornada Pokécenter, head westward and enter the cave’s entrance. Using Koraidon or Miraidon’s Glide or Climb Mode, reach the top of the massive central ridge visible from the cavern’s entryway. Investigate the left side of the ridge to find the TM.
Sources at Game8 claim that a third TM copy of Giga Impact in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet can be found on the smaller of the two islands in the East Paldean Sea. This small isle duo is also where you can find the Grass Pledge TM. Mount-gliding or swimming will be required to reach this location. Once you have acquired a copy of the TM, you can craft it using the following:
