Do you want to know where to get the Makarov Pistol (MP) in Atomic Heart? Atomic Heart is the latest first-person action role-playing video game developed by Mundfish.
Set in alternate Soviet Russia in the ’50s, you play as a mentally unstable Major officer Sergei Nechaev eliminating biomechanical, biological, and other threats. When you start a new campaign, you will have only a shotgun at your disposal as a weapon.
However, there will be a lot of alternatives as you progress through the story. One of these alternatives is the Makarov Pistol (MP). This guide will show you how to get a Makarov Pistol (MP) in Atomic Heart.
Atomic Heart: How to Get Makarov Pistol (MP)
The Makarov Pistol is a missable weapon in Atomic Heart, but the good thing is you can get it during your very first mission. While chasing the main antagonist and the man responsible for the robot revolution, Petrov, you will scatter through the warehouse. The locked door will force you to go around, where Laborer robots and Pchela will try to take you out.
Eliminate them and follow the stairs up to the room with an orange orb and a Candle found on the red table. Now, when you find the table, turn around, and you will notice a dead soldier at his desk. Besides, the soldier on the ground will be his Makarov Pistol (MP).
If you can’t see at first glance, use your Polymer Glove to loot the items in the room. One of these items will be Makarov Pistol, and it will fly right up to you.

Makarov Pistol is a nice upgrade to a shotgun you have used so far in Atomic Heart. It has more power before you upgrade it and is more useful against your foes.
Although it does provide a decent upgrade, Makarov Pistol is not the only option besides the starting shotgun. You will be introduced to a wide array of weapons in Atomic Heart.
