The game features six iconic TV sets from the English, American, French, Spanish, Italian, and German versions of the show. If that isn’t enough, each country has its own exclusive set of questions. If nothing else, there’ll be more than enough content to indulge your mental workout. As with the show itself, you must climb the money tree by answering 15 increasingly-hard questions. More than 3,000 questions are in the game, with 2,000 being territory-exclusive. The questions themselves cover a broad range of topics including Art & Literature, Science, Sport, and much more.
Who Wants to Be A Millionaire? is notable for its family-friendly style. The videogame is no different. Included is both a solo mode with normal difficulty, and a kids mode with questions written for younger audiences. This makes the game ideal for testing the minds of the younger generation. Who Wants to Be A Millionaire? also features both online and offline forms of multiplayer. This means you can play with your family in the living room or with random people on the web. But things get really exciting when it comes to the latter – you can battle up to 99 players in a tense ‘Battle Royale’ mode.
Meanwhile, other modes on offer include ‘Free-For-All’ which allows 4 players to play with their own controller challenge each other through a series of questions. ‘Taking Turns’ is self-explanatory, with up to 10 players taking turns to answer questions in a ‘sudden death’ game. Last but not least, there’s the ‘Co-Operative’ mode. This allows you, family, and friends to work together to beat Who Wants to Be A Millionaire?
When you win a game, you can send your electronic check to Appeal Games who will cash it for you (note: this is a lie).
The game is available on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Switch. Hyped to play Who Wants to Be A Millionaire? with your buddies? Tell me in the comments below!
