Long story short, hubby is Muslim and has some different practices. Practices she was very much aware of before marrying him. And it seems so far, whenever he asks her to participate, she reacts like an actual child.

Reddit user u/atargatis_17 started a thread to call out 90 Day Fiancé newcomer Nicole and blame her for her issues with Mahmoud. “90Day has been on for NINE YEARS and here we are in 2023 with yet another white woman utterly shocked that her Muslim husband is asking her to be covered while living in his Muslim home,” the user ranted. Many commenters blamed Nicole for marrying a man who was clear from the beginning about his expectations of a partner. “She also talked about liking her independence but married someone who wants to control her every action,” one confused user wrote. However, some users blamed both sides. “He knew what he signed up for too. They’re both idiots,” another commenter pointed out. The fans on Reddit expressed that Nicole and Mahmoud, who have relationship red flags, appear to be one of the many franchise couples who will split due to their cultural differences getting in the way.
Now you know why fans don’t like Nicole. There are some issues many viewers took with her that she just refused her husband’s culture. That alone led to many of the viewers to write these two off as toxic. But some stepped back and took a more honest view and realize that most of the real problems between them seem to fall onto Nicole’s shoulders. These two been on the show once, and people’s feathers are already ruffled. All that tells you is that they will be a perfect fit for this show.
