“This is the longest job I have held in my 35-year career, and I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series. It has been a fun eight-year run, and I am excited for what is to come!”
The reality star joined the franchise in 2014 during season five and during her eight years gave fans many memorable moments, including the infamous glass-throwing moment where she hurled a wine glass at her co-star Kim Richards. Since announcing her departure, fans have been inquiring about the possible reasons Lisa decided to leave the franchise.
Lisa’s Surprising Contract Demands
Despite the sudden announcement of her departure, fans predicted Lisa’s alleged contract demands hastened her decision to leave. Lisa’s contract with Bravo ended after season 12, and she needed to renegotiate to extend her time with the franchise. However, according to some reports, Lisa had requested to be the highest-paid housewife of all time to return to the franchise. The reality star had spent weeks teasing her return for the new season before her eventual departure. During the latter stages of her appearance in RHOBH, Lisa came under criticism from a certain section of farms who claimed the star had no interesting arc or goal except fighting other stars not part of the Fox Force Five (FFF).
