Some of the season’s most shocking moments occurred during Casa Amor when the girls left the villa to meet the Casa Amor guys. Some relationships began experiencing cracks. Olivia played with some of the handsome men in Casa Amor and once jokingly talked about forgetting her partner’s name. Claudia filled the room with tears as she didn’t receive a note from Casey, Tanya forgot about her connection with Shaq, and Will Young found it hard to get his eyes off the Casa Amor beauties. But Ron, who had already garnished his resume with his bad-guy antics, did not snoop around in Casa Amor.
Instead, he remained unhooked to the distractions, proving he might have changed. This did not go unnoticed as the eagle-eyed fans recorded Ron keeping to himself. Though it left many in shock, they commended his efforts. Meanwhile, his sudden attitude didn’t convince some fans, who mentioned he probably changed his strategy to curry favor from viewers and eventually win. However, other fans countered this sentiment, reminding fans of Ron’s chaotic behavior earlier in the show, adding that if winning was on his mind, he would have behaved better. Ron Treats Lana Better
Once Ron recoupled with Lana, he tried to be a better partner, treating her more respectfully. Although this only happened after he messed up countless times and Lana even had to dump him, still, it has placed him in a good light. Ron has gone out of his way to treat Lana as well as he can, a deep contrast to how their relationship started. The couple seemingly enjoyed spending time together and suddenly emerged as one of the favorites to win the season.
Meanwhile, Winter Love Island fans on Reddit have different views about Ron’s redemption, with some explaining that Ron hopefully only played his game early on by not immediately staying glued to Lana, as he intended to explore other options and find the perfect connection. However, the same Redditor gave Ron a light part on the back, praising him for stepping up after being called out, before ending with:

One fan also shared that although the couple is doing the right thing with their relationship, they have made the show less entertaining to watch.
