Wizards of the Coast is releasing two brand new fifth edition adventures for their role-playing game Dungeons and Dragons. One story combines Magic: the Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons, while the other takes adventurers back to a familiar setting.
Players can download Wayfinder’s Guide to Eberron right now at DMsGuild but will have to wait for Guildmasters’ Guide to Ravnica.
You wanted a setting, we give you two settings – Eberron is live on the DM’s Guild, and we’re (FINALLY!) taking D&D to the universe of Magic: the Gathering. #WOTCstaff https://t.co/PjTGTlhWlE

Guildmasters’ Guide to Ravnica
Fans of Wizards of the Coasts Magic: The Gathering will know the name Ravnica. Players will get to explore the city from a new perspective.
A perpetual haze of dreary rain hangs over the spires of Ravnica. Through it all, ten guilds—crime syndicates, scientific institutions, church hierarchies, military forces, judicial courts, buzzing swarms, and rampaging gangs—vie for power, wealth, and influence. These guilds are the foundation of power on Ravnica. They have existed for millennia, and each one has its own identity and civic function, its own diverse collection of races and creatures, and its own distinct subculture. Their history is a web of wars, intrigue, and political machinations as they have vied for control of the plane.”
The new book includes new classes, races, monsters, and setting information.
Along with the book, Wizards is also releasing a set of Ravnica dice. Guildmasters’ Guide to Ravnica releases November 20th, 2018 for $49.95.
“Fans of Dungeons & Dragons and Magic: The Gathering have been asking for years about when these two amazing brands would play together,” said Nathan Stewart, director of D&D. “With the huge surge in popularity of D&D and Magic’s commitment to bring the lore and storytelling to life, the timing seemed perfect. Ravnica is full of adventure possibilities and I can’t wait for fans to jump in to embody a member of one the iconic guilds.”
Wayfinder’s Guide to Eberron
The original creator of the Eberron setting, Keith Baker, returns for Wayfinder’s Guide to Eberron. Baker created Eberron in 2002 after winning a contest to create a new setting for Dungeons and Dragons.
“It’s been sixteen years since I planted the first seeds that would become Eberron, and watching it grow has been an amazing journey, So many good people have been involved in creating the world we see today, and it’s been wonderful to see it come to life. I can’t wait to see what people do with the world!”
Eberron is a world where players explore the continent of Khorvaire. It features steampunk type constructions such as trains, skyships, and automatons powered by magic.
Wayfinder’s Guide to Eberron is available to download now on Dungeon Masters Guild.
With more than 175,000 public play testers, Wizards says they will continue to listen to the feedback of their fans to create more tabletop content they want to play.
Wizards two other fifth edition books, Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage and Waterdeep: Dragon Heist release later this year.
