Nazis and fascism have seen a violent resurged in the United States recently, attending and inciting violence at protest across the country. So what better time and way is there to take your aggression out on them, without actually doing so physically, than with the Launch of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus?
The sequel to the 2015 shooter, a reboot of the 1981 2D top-down perspective classic Castle Wolfenstein, will see players get the chance to kick the Nazi’s ass right out the U.S of A. Earlier today, Bethesda launched Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus official launch trailer, revealing a bevy of interesting facts.
The most notable thing featured in the trailer was a brief cameo by the most notorious dictator to ever live, Adolf Hitler. Since its set in a future where the Nazis do take over America, we see a much older, grey-haired, sick and wheezy form of Hitler. Gone are the days of his robot-body-sporting Hitler we saw in the classic Wolfenstein games.
Aside from that, the trailer continues shows off exactly what the Wolfenstein series is known for, brutal, NSFW Nazi killing mayhem. All in total, about 34 Nazis suffer at the hand of B.J. Blazkowicz, killed by vaporization, point-blank shotgun blasts, and grenades to the face. Needless to say Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus will feature a hell of a lot of ways to kill fascists.
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus will release October 27, 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows. The shooter will also be ported to The Nintendo Switch at a later date in 2018.
