Wolfenstein: Youngblood will be hitting store shelves on July 26, 2019, according to publisher Bethesda Softworks. The title is the standalone follow up to Machine Games 2017 hit Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and follows BJ Blazkowicz’s twin daughters on their journey to save their father. A brief trailer can be viewed below for the upcoming title.
Machine Games is offering players a fantastic deal when they purchase certain versions of Wolfenstein: Youngblood. This entry of the Wolfenstein franchise will be the first one to heavily feature co-op as there are two playable characters this time around. Those who opt for the Deluxe Edition will have the ability to share the game with a friend for the low low price of free. Entitled the Buddy Pass, purchasers of the Deluxe Edition will be able to share the game with one friend at a time and as long as they are playing together, will be able to share the entirety of the game with a friend. This means the game can be shared with multiple people as long as the original purchaser is playing with them.
The buy-in for the Deluxe Edition is a steal at only $40 whereas the basic version will cost buyers $30. This reduced price displays the fact that Wolfenstein: Youngblood will be a much shorter experience than The New Colossus, but seems to still live up to the quality of the previous titles. Using the previous Wolfenstein standalone DLC as a basis, The Old Blood clocked in at around 8 hours. Fans should expect a similarly lengthed experience here. Wolfenstein: Youngblood will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
