If you were ever into superheroes as a kid, chances are you’ve heard of Wonder Woman at least a few times. The tale of Princess Diana is one that’s been depicted many times in the media, more recently with the films. For older fans though, 1975’s Wonder Woman show was likely what got you invested in the character. Its been 45 years since then though, and Wonder Woman shows its age. Warner Bros. is looking to revive the critically acclaimed show though with Wonder Woman: The Complete Collection. This Blu-ray edition of the original show releases in just over a week on July 28th, 2020.
Wonder Woman: The Complete Collection takes the episodes from all four years of its run-time and puts it in its collection of 10 disks. Best of all its been remastered, making the TV show look and sound better than it ever has. This set brings 59 episodes, the pilot movie, and a set of bonus features. These bonus features include audio commentary of the pilot movie, commentary on the episode “My Teenage Idol is Missing“, and three different featurettes. Needless to say, this is the best way to watch the TV show in the modern-day.
Hopefully, you can pick Wonder Woman up and experience it once again in a remastered form. Maybe you can show your kids, so they can see the kind of show you watched as a kid. For those that haven’t watched, it stars Lynda Carter as Princess Diana, Lyle Waggoner as Steve Trevor, and Debra Winger as Wonder Girl. The first season follows Diana in her quest to stop the nazis during World War II. Seasons two and three follow her during the disco-filled 70s era. If you haven’t seen it before, nows the best chance!
