VR developer Studio 369 is strapped and ready to launch its next game, World Of Mechs. Coming this May 26th, Meta Quest 2 users will be able to jump into a 10-ton mech in virtual reality. Oculus players can wishlist the game now through its main page to stay in the loop of its release.
Welcome to the Virtual Reality World of Mechs
With only a 2.3 GB installation, World Of Mechs aims to bring an authentic mech experience to the VR crowd. The game offers a selection of 32 unique mechs across 8 different combative categories. To become the top gun on legs, you’ll need a tough arsenal. Some of the weapon and tool attachments include radar jammers, stealth cloaking, landmines, barrage missiles, machine guns, and more.
World Of Mechs offers both single-player and multiplayer options to choose from. The campaign comes with 20 missions and merciless bosses for you to master and defeat. You’ll be able to earn cash for your efforts by completing the missions, as well. And once you’ve learned your robotic rhythm in the campaign, you can put your skills to the test with other players. Gather three of your friends to face off against ruthless online players across five distinctive maps and four modes. You can check out some of the action right here with a YouTube video from the game’s channel.
World Of Mechs will be landing on the Meta Quest 2 this May 26th for only $19.99. With the fashion of operating a heavy machine in VR, World Of Mechs supports sitting positions with a moderate comfort level. However, there is no current word on the game coming to other VR headsets.
