The World of Warships: Legends anniversary is coming up in August, and to celebrate one year of destruction at sea items and ships new and old will be making their way into the game.
The World of Warships: Legends July update brings several changes to the game to celebrate the World of Warships: Legends anniversary. These include new ships with which to rule the sea, a new campaign that promises to summon the Norse god Odin, and new seasons of ranked battles. Items from throughout the first year of the game will also make an appearance in the update, including rare commanders. Players will get another chance to earn items they missed from previous events thanks to the update.
World of Warships: Legends Anniversary
French navy destroyers will soon be yours to control in early access. These new destroyers will be some of the fastest in the game, but don’t allow for the use of Smoke Generator consumables, meaning players won’t be able to deploy concealing smoke if they find themselves outmatched. The French destroyers will offer extra speed, firepower, and higher tiers of other consumables to make up for this.
A new campaign will also be coming with the World of Warships: Legends anniversary. This campaign, “Valhalla Rising,” features Odin, a Tier VII Premium German battleship. The 100-level campaign features five weeks of missions.
Ranked Battles are also coming back with the World of Warships: Legends anniversary. The 7 vs. 7 battles will come in waves, with the first two weeks following the update putting players in Tier V ships. After a week’s break, players can hop back into Ranked Battles in Tier VI ships. Additionally, US Light Navy Cruisers will be making their way out of early access, three new maps are being introduced, and the quick-command wheel will undergo a rework.
