X-Terminators Preview Is All Claws and Teeth

CBR offers an exclusive X-Terminators preview for the second issue and it features some familiar faces and fanged enemies. X-Terminators #2 from Leah Williams and Carlos Gomez sees Laura Kinney’s Wolverine teaming up with the femme fatale trio. Together, the mutant ladies take on a futuristic vampire cult!

Playing Catch Up

The first issue of the X-Terminators series sees Jubilee, Boom-Boom, and Dazzler teaming up to solve an explosive mystery. Dazzler discovers that her ex is actually a powerful vampire. This discovery sends the three ladies on a crash course to a battle they can’t win. After a rough loss, the mutants wake up trapped in a bloody maze of unknown origins. As they travel through the maze, they find something rather unexpected in the center. The issue ends with the discovery of Wolverine waiting in the middle of the maze. Of course this may just be the upper hand that the X-Terminators need to get out of this place.

X-Terminators Preview

In an exclusive preview, CBR shows off four pages of the upcoming second issue. It shows the trio surprised to find Laura Kinney in this place. However, that surprise quickly turns to joy as the group plots their way out of their current predicament. With a chanting cult of robed figures watching, the mutants ready themselves for a heck of a fight. Unfortunately, the previews only show a small taste of the battle awaiting the X-Terminators.

We see the chanting figures using some kind of magic to create a crystal-like maze of walls around the girls. This allows some cheap shots from the attacking vampires. Emerging from the newly apparatus walls looks to be versions of the mutants in varying un-dead forms. In one panel, Jubilee is surrounded by several Jubilees and Boom-Booms. Meanwhile, the final preview panel shows Dazzler facing off with a vampiric version of herself.

It is sure to be a night to remember when X-Terminators #2 hits shelves on October 26.
