Microsoft is working on a family plan for its Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription service. This plan allows a small group of Xbox users to pay one monthly charge for access to Game Pass across up to five Xbox profiles. It was allegedly known as “Xbox Game Pass Friends and Family.” It is now official with the revised plan.

Microsoft its new Game Pass Friends & Family service and revealed its prices in Ireland and Colombia. The new subscription will let Xbox Game Pass members share with up to four other friends or family members for €21.99 per month (instead of the €12.99 per month for Game Pass Ultimate) in Ireland and 49,900 COP in Colombia.
Microsoft has also detailed the features a player would receive if they already have a membership and want to upgrade to the Game Pass Friends & Family plan.
- 30 days Game Pass Ultimate would turn into 18 days Friends & Family
- 30 days Game Pass (Console) would turn into 12 days Friends & Family
- 30 days PC Game Pass would turn into 12 days Friends & Family
- 30 days Live Gold would turn into 12 days Friends & Family
- 30 days EA Play would turn into 6 days Friends & Family
Microsoft hasn’t yet revealed the price for Europe, the UK, or the US, although rumors suggest that Xbox Game Pass Friends & family in the US may cost roughly $25 per month. The company stated that future countries and regions might be added in the following months.
Microsoft presently costs $9.99 per month for Xbox or PC Game Pass. Online multiplayer is not available with membership, but for $14.99, you can upgrade to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which gives you access to Game Pass for consoles, PCs, EA Play, and online multiplayer with Xbox Live Gold. Game Pass Friends & Family includes all the same Game Pass Ultimate benefits.
