XCOM: Ultimate Collection is Now Available on Steam

2K has unveiled the XCOM: Ultimate Collection on Steam. The collection includes XCOM: Enemy Unknown, XCOM 2, and XCOM: Chimera Squad. Today, the bundle will be available for purchase on Steam at a discounted price of $39.14, an 83% discount from the total cost of the three games. As well, fans who already own a few of the titles but want to “Complete the Set,” can purchase only the items they don’t already own.

Included in the bundle is:

XCOM: Enemy Unknown: “The modern remake of the classic and beloved original. XCOM: Enemy Unknown will place you in control of a secret paramilitary organization. You will defend against a terrifying global alien invasion by managing resources, advancing technologies, and overseeing combat strategies and individual unit tactics.”

XCOM 2: “Aliens now rule Earth, promising a brilliant future for mankind while secretly hiding a sinister agenda. As the leader of a guerrilla force facing impossible odds, you must ignite a global resistance to eliminate the alien threat and save the human race from extinction.”

XCOM: Chimera Squad: “Five years after the events of XCOM 2, humans and aliens are working together to forge a civilization of cooperation and coexistence. However, not all of Earth’s inhabitants support interspecies alliance. Chimera Squad, an elite force of human and alien agents, must work together to destroy the underground threats driving the city toward chaos.”

Fans will undoubtedly be excited to see these games bundled together and on sale. The franchise has raked in countless awards since its inception and continues to dominate the turn-based tactical genre. With the XCOM: Ultimate Collection, the series should see an influx of new players who have had these games on their wishlist. They’ll have to hurry though. This deal won’t last long.
