In Xenoblade Chronicles 3, players can unlock wide options in the combat system like Arts, Fusion Arts, Combinations, and Chain Attacks which are enhanced by Ouroboros Orders. But to open this enhancement, your character’s interlink level must be at least 3, so here is how to raise Interlink Levels in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
How to Raise Interlink Levels in Xenoblade Chronicles 3
Having a higher Interlink Level is not just to unlock other things like the Chain Attacks enhanced by Ouroboros Orders. Interlinking has a significant impact on the power you fight against opponents. Once you’ve unlocked the interlinking ability, you must level it up to access Ouroboros Orders. To do this, you must use Fusion Arts. If you want to increase that interlink level of your character, you must learn how to use Fusion Arts.
During the combats in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, you will see two trees of abilities with four skills, each on the right and left sides of the screen. On the upper right of the right-side abilities, you can use the button to activate the Fusion Arts of the character. This button is connected to Nintendo Switch‘s ZR, and you must wait for the attack to be charged and then press the ZR button.

But you have to remember that Fusion Arts ability can only be used when two abilities that use the same button from both sections are not on cooldown. For example, if you want to use Cross Impact and Landslide together, these two attacks must be connected to the same button, such as X. Once you can use the abilities, press the X and ZR button at the same time to fuse both attacks and raise Interlink Levels as well. Each time you make the Fusion Art attack successfully, the Interlink meter will be increased.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is now available for Nintendo Switch.
