Xenoblade Chronicles 3 can be made considerably easier to play using auto-battles. The player character will behave exactly like other AI-controlled teammates thanks to this approach. This may be a wonderful strategy to destroy other bothersome creatures or gather resources. However, it doesn’t always work, so players will still need to be familiar with the basics of fighting. The auto-battle has its limitations and isn’t appropriate in all circumstances. The AI-controlled member still requires Master’s Arts training, protective gear, and a suitable Xenoblade Chronicles 3 class. Without any preparation, the celebration will still be in jeopardy. Here is how you can turn on auto-battle in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
Turn On Auto-Battle in Xenoblade Chronicles 3
In the menu of gameplay options, you may access the auto-battle feature. Press X to see the party screen while on the field. System is the first option to scroll down to, followed by “Options” and “Game.” Near the bottom of the lengthy list will be the option to enable “Auto-Battle.” To activate auto-battle, players must save their Xenoblade Chronicles 3 option selections before leaving the menu.
Only while battling regular adversaries does the auto-battle functionality function. Players will still have to engage in manual combat with bosses, special opponents, and other significant plot interactions. This will momentarily turn off auto-battle. However, the following Xenoblade Chronicles 3 encounter will switch it back on. Gamers must toggle auto-battle off once again in the settings menu if they want to completely disable it.
Characters affected by auto-battle will not get any player input at all. Choosing when to move, which Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Master Arts to deploy, the ideal timing to employ Ouroboros mode, or giving orders to the squad are all examples of this. This can cause the group to stand in a dangerous position, disregard dropped loot, or become stranded on difficult terrain.

On a party member who is strong or uncomplicated, auto-battle is advised. Most of the time, simple Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Attackers like Yumsmith, Flash Fencer, or Stalker are good class choices. It might also be a helpful, simpler healer like Troubadour or Signifer. Typically, a main character of the same class will behave similarly to auto-battle if players are used to playing a Hero.
By hitting the minus button, auto-battle can be momentarily disabled for those who still find it a little unexpected. This will only apply to the current Xenoblade Chronicles 3 encounter. After that, the function will resume. However, if the group is currently engaged in battle and fresh monsters join the fray, auto-battle will not abruptly activate.
